Viewserve AB was founded early in 2005 by Anders Lövbrand. The background to Viewserve was the difficulty of finding a reasonably priced global positioning solutionfleet management solution for a family construction company. , Flygtjänst i Vilhelmina AB (Vilhelmina Airline Services Ltd, based in the town of Vilhelmina in northern Sweden). As all the solutions onof the market would involve excessively large capital investment in hardware that in time would be outdated, the Viewserve company was founded. Before being launched on the Swedish market, the service was thoroughly tested. at two local small airlines, Flygtjänst i Vilhelmina and Jämtlandsflyg in the town of Östersund. Today, Viewserve is a well-established service in the construction sector, with the focus on road maintenance for major contractors on the Swedish market. Additionally a large number of municipalities have adopted the Viewserve web-based GPS/GPRS service in Sweden and on the German speaking market. During autumn 2006, Viewserve also launched a very successful marketing campaign for measuring the depth of snow for piste machinery on the French and Austrian markets. Today Viewserve is a well-capitalised company with well-reputed board members who have broad experience in Swedish industry. Today Viewserve is established in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and Dubai.

From Fleet Management to Information Aggregation System

From being one of many fleet management solutions on the market, Viewserve has continuously added value to the service by developing analogue and serial interfaces to several different data sources in vehicles. The purpose and goal is to develop a complete solution that can collect data from numerous systems and data sources inside a vehicle, having one interface platform for the user instead of several softwares to monitor. Viewserve believes in the philosophy of making information accessible for the user with one single platform, and in this way adding value by providing a tool for improving profitability and quality assurance. A continuous development is ongoing to increase the data interfaces to our service.

Viewserve AB is a limited company with its main office in the town of Dorotea in southern Lapland in Sweden. The head office handles technical development, technical support and associated administration. A development office is located in Stockholm, which is also the registered office for the company's management. Viewserve supplements its highly competent software development team in Sweden by employing development consultants in China.

Viewserve's philosophy is that the functions and the software should be developed, maintained and upgraded centrally, and supplied to customers. Information should be available online which may provide the basis for added value for the users. Another aspect close to Viewserve's heart is automation and user-friendliness for the vehicle drivers. Existing hardware technology is supplemented with in-house software development, with the aim of supplying a flexible web-based interface with the required information to customers in Sweden and abroad.

The technical skills in Viewserve are the key to the company's business mission - to continually develop a user-friendly Web-based service which is cost-effective for the user, and provides information that optimises and makes more efficient the user's daily business activities.

Responsibilities as a producer

We are affiliated to REPA, a nationwide packaging collection and recycling scheme in Sweden that is the private sector solution for producers' responsibilities for packaging of plastic, metal, paper/cardboard and corrugated board.

Membership ensures we meet our producer responsibilities for our packaging and play our part in the vision of a sustainable society in which most of what is considered waste today, will be recycled for other benefits as another form of new resource.
